This policy applies to the Daily Stas Android app
(com.dailystas.app) and the dailystas.org website. Daily Stas is a
read-only market viewer: it displays live cryptocurrency prices, a market heat list
and a BTC/USD chart. It has no accounts, no login, no purchases, no messaging and no
trading functionality. Daily Stas is operated for users in the United States, and this
policy is written to meet U.S. privacy standards, including the California Consumer
Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), the
Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and other applicable U.S. state
privacy laws. We may also use the words "we," "us" or "our" to refer to Daily Stas.
The app collects no information about you. Specifically:
The website (dailystas.org) is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. It uses Cloudflare's privacy-preserving web analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages are viewed. Cloudflare Web Analytics collects only aggregate, non-personal statistics (such as page views, approximate geographic region and device type). It does not use cookies and does not collect or store personal data. As with any website, the hosting provider's edge servers may also process standard technical data (such as an IP address and browser type) in short-lived connection logs for security and performance. We do not access, store or use these logs to identify individual visitors.
The app requests a single permission: Internet access. This is used only to fetch live public market data from third-party data providers and to render chart assets.
Because we collect no personal data, we have nothing to use, sell or share. Aggregate website visit statistics are used only to understand general site usage and keep the site healthy. They cannot be used to identify you.
We do not sell, rent or share personal information with anyone — we do not collect it in the first place. Specifically, we do not engage in "sales" or "sharing" of personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA, we do not participate in cross-context behavioral advertising, and neither the app nor the website contains advertising SDKs or ad networks.
To display live market data, the app connects to public APIs:
The website additionally relies on Cloudflare (hosting, CDN and cookie-free web analytics). The app is distributed through the Google Play Store, which handles its own account, device and payment information under Google's privacy policy — we do not receive it.
These services run under their own privacy policies and may log standard network request data (such as an IP address) as described on their websites. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the practices of these providers.
If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you rights regarding personal information. Because we do not collect personal information, most of these rights are already satisfied by design — there is nothing about you that we possess. The rights you have under California law include:
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@dailystas.org. We will respond within 45 days as required by law. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. Because we collect no personal information, we generally cannot verify an individual's identity beyond confirming your contact details, and we may need to ask you for reasonable information to confirm a request.
Consumers in states with privacy laws — including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Montana, Oregon, Delaware, Tennessee, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire and others — have rights such as access, correction, deletion and opt-out of sale/targeted advertising. We extend the same treatment to all users: we collect no personal data, sell nothing and run no targeted advertising, so all such rights are satisfied by design. Daily Stas is not directed at children under 13, and the website is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect, solicit or use any information from anyone, including children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us at privacy@dailystas.org and we will delete it promptly.
Daily Stas is intended for users in the United States but is publicly accessible worldwide. Users in the EU/UK/EEA benefit from the same zero-collection design and may exercise GDPR rights (access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability) simply by contacting us — there is no personal data to provide.
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will always be published on this page with a new effective date. App functionality changes are not expected to affect this statement because the app's design principle — collecting nothing — will not change.
